Wandering

Since my mom needed surgery on her left arm, I'm off to spend a week with her, doing the things she's not supposed to do till it at least heals somewhat.

I'm happy that I could bring along my daughter and we had an Excellent Adventure on our trip, stopping at a cute old-fashioned diner for breakfast and finally tasting some cinnamon roll pancakes.
The eating rules I set for our trip were: we had to eat somewhere we'd never been before, or if we ended up at a fast food place we had to order something we'd never had before. So we stopped at the diner and I had cinnamon roll pancakes. So much SWEETNESS! But a fun new try.

We also got to explore Bronner's famous Christmas store in Frankenmuth after more than 29 years of living in Michigan.

While we've been playing, Sarah has listed some 100% angora yarn in the Etsy store.

The yarn is so soft and beautiful. You've gotta get some. Angorgeous Stitches on Etsy.
